Acting as a liaison between the patient and his/her physician or between multiple physicians, Nurse Concierge helps to ensure the patient understands their diagnosis and treatment as well as the treatment options. Nurse Concierge helps the patient navigate a system that can seem overwhelming and confusing by assisting with the coordination of healthcare providers, the management of medications, and coordination of medical billings and insurance. Patients are then empowered to make better health care decisions, decreasing their anxiety and improving the quality of their health care.

I am getting many questions regarding the Zika virus. The truth is that we are literally learning new things daily. We do know that the Zika virus lives longer in semen than in blood and we are still not quite sure how long that actually is. Here is a link to the latest information from the CDC.
