Although my mother passed in 2007, Mother's Day is one of many days that I celebrate her. As the time gets closer, it brings back memories of her and the journey it took to write and publish my recent book, "Turn to Me: My Mother's Notebooks, My Journey, and a Gift of Forgiveness." This book reflects on how my mother's personal and unusual journey for her time brought healing and the ability to release past grievances.
