A heartfelt thank you to Margaret Ransom (right) and the Yankee Clippers quilting club of Walpole for donating 35 handmade quilts to our kids! Margaret remembers taking a tour of Franciscan Children’s about 6 years ago and has been quilting for us ever since. “It was very upbeat here, very positive,” she said. Plus, she knew her favorite Red Sox player, Tim Wakefield, was a strong supporter of Franciscan, so she wanted to help our kids too. ❤️

Our Child Life staff members were happy to accept the beautiful quilts and look forward to handing them out to our kids soon!

A hole-in-one for Franciscan Children’s!

Our 17th Annual Golf Tournament at Wollaston Golf Club brought together 108 golfers and raised over $200,000 in support of our programs - fueling the care and services that help kids thrive every day.

Franciscan Children’s Pediatric Dentistry Department provides services ranging from routine care for all kids to specialized care for kids with complex dental, medical, intellectual or behavioral needs like seizure disorders, autism and Down Syndrome.

Today, at the Allston-Brighton Health Collaborative Brighton Farmers Market, our dental team will once again be doing free pediatric dental screenings. See how they make dental care fun!

Recently, players from the New England Revolution stopped by our Inpatient Mental Health Unit to spend time with kids and share an important message. They spoke openly about how they handle pressure on and off the field, reminding our patients that it’s okay to lean on others during challenging times.

Thank you to the Revs for bringing encouragement, inspiration and a lot of smiles to Franciscan Children’s!

This week, we pulled out all the stops to celebrate our patient Dylan’s 21st birthday!

Since Dylan lights up whenever he sees emergency vehicles, our staff called in some special backup. Thanks to our friends at Boston Police Department (Official) and Boston Fire Department, Dylan’s big day came with flashing lights, sirens and plenty of smiles. 🚒🚓
