Jalynn's journey with Chiari Malformation and extensive syrnix

Look at this guys!!!! We've gone from three curves biggest one at 47, to one curve at 19°. It took us a year but look at the progresse her back has made in the last year! A year ago we were taking about surgery to correct, we ended up in brain surgery instead and it fixed her back to! Funny how when you don't have a blockage at the brain stem things work right lol. She has grown 4 inches in the last 4 months, we don't go back to see the doctor for 6 months. She is 4ft 4inches getting bigger everyday so happy with the new we got today thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Good morning everyone I know it's been awhile sense I have posted. J so fare is doing great in school all A's. She has had a few ruff days but still gets up to go to school. It's been nice to see her feeling like her old self again I do notice that she gets tired easier. We go today to get x-rays and see orthopedic doctor today wish us luck! We're hoping to see more improvement in the right way.

Js first day of second grade we held her back due to missing so much last year. She is excited but nervous at the same time she going to do great this year!

Appointment went really well now to get the other two appointments this week done! No rest this week lots of appointments with school coming up.

Good morning everyone! We are on our way to St. Louis this morning. J had rehabilitation this morning to get a game plan as to her therapies and meds she needs for rescue on days she's in pain. Wish us quick and easy travels

Hello all up date on little JJ she is doing so much better! She still get tires easly and has to rest quite often but we're hoping with physical therapy that will get better. We got back to st. Louis at the end pf the month thank you all who have reached out to check on our little family. We are doing well I've been busy with the kids doing things I guess making up for the last year. Try to stay cool out side it's hottttt...hottest....

News on the JJ front! We got great news today at her back doctor everything is healing nicely and going back to where it was! Yall I could not be any happier for out girl she dose not have to ware a brace anymore!!! The left is today's scan the right is the scans from last year! Look at that difference! We needed this.. so as of today J is stable in all aspects and I'm on cloud 9 as a momma.
