Happy memories. While in massage school, I was blessed to have met some really cool people and also be exposed to different events where we performed massages. I’ve done many clients from the ASU boys & girls basketball team, football, and even traveled to Alabama to help massage the ASU track and field team. I also massaged Tyler Zuber which is an MLB player from the Kansas City Royals. My instructor really taught us how to work on clients from different aspects. I’m so thankful for everything he did to make sure we were prepared. We went to NEA hospital in Jonesboro to do the staff for Nurse Appreciation week.We also went to a school district which I can’t recall, but we did the staff for Teacher’s Appreciation week. We traveled to Little Rock to help massage the participants of the Little Rock marathon. I’m grateful to have had those opportunities. My classmates that I’ve met,some I still talk to today, we all helped each other. It was many times I’ve cried on my way to school from being exhausted and overwhelmed,but I’m glad by the grace of God, the encouraging words of all that I confided in, the many prayers that were lifted up, and my instructor that wouldn’t let me give up and because of all of that plus more, it’s the reason I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist today.
