The Collective Camp is a mosaic of different types of fitness and life experiences that create this sort of kaleidoscope movement of strength, gentleness and beauty. One must not only Work-Out but also Work-In. It's when we go inside where we find, its where we all need the most work. Its a daily practice. "ROAR"
Experience leadership combined with tough-love. You will be both challenged and supported in this "goal themed" tactical fitness camp. 4 weeks long and 30-45 min a class. Geared to Women 18 and Up. It is a mix of various training drills from basketball, yoga, boxing, Tabata, ballet, feminine creative movement and much more to create a total body workout. "MYA Yoga"
(Motivate Your Ankh/Ass) inspired by Yoga to the People, is heart opening, soulful and upbeat. Vinyasa Flow, 1 Breath/1 Movement, hips to heels, breath to beats, and of course collective vibrational breaths keeps you engaged, challenged but also, allowing you to honor your body and sometimes sitting with your truth. We often shake our heads no and yes. We keep breathing. We let wanted and unwanted moments pass as we reset, flow and welcome our next pose. The Collective Camp is...
Real stories, real bodies learning their *Why to keep going. We accept the term "We all start where we start..." We foster the team mentality of "We all finish together." A true journey of our own lives that so happen to weave through each others and balancing vulnerability, strength, gentleness and beauty. We all decide to show up for various of reasons. Practicing never to compare yourself to someone else. No one is perfect but for sure, everyone has a little bit of broken. The goal is to get strong enough to use those broken pieces, good and bad and create something beautiful. Build up your own damn kaleidoscope! Make yourself proud. Own your truth. Smile fully from your heart. "Happiness is just the bits of Joy you feel moving towards your potential." We suit up to face our day to day challenges preparing to overcome them and if we do not, we gear up to become more hopeful because there is always tomorrow. We become more awake, more aware as we start to walk tall spreading positive love to issues that may not be so proximate to others. We bring our sisters, mothers, daughters, and friends UP, rather than bringing them down. The divisiveness turns into the real collective because, at some point we start to see that working out, and eating healthy is an intimate journey with ourselves. If we do not recognize that "Fitness is Personal" it will never become sustainable. No one person should ever be glorified especially a teacher, another student or even a reality star. Its OK to look for inspiration. Give gratitude for the light and be in awe of the love because we learn, the only person we can ever change and have real control over is the one you see in the mirror. It's simple, we have heard this time and time again, "a woman who feels strong, is beautiful." Our *Why is to help women create a physical strength worthy of their true spirit.
