Had the most wonderful experience last week at the 2023 Psychotherapy Symposium. Being educated by the leading trauma experts in our field, all while sharing this experience with fellow mental health professionals from all over the world was an invaluable experience. Our hearts were inspired while meeting Bessel Vanderkolk and sharing our story of how his book, “The Body Keeps the Score” planted our roots here at Center of Hope. Center of Hope is eager to send warm wishes for joy, peace, and health to all of our clients and community partners this holiday season.

To celebrate the season, our COH kids have been hard at work designing snowflakes filled with all the qualities about them that make them unique, just like snowflakes.

If you are scheduled to visit with us in the days leading up to Christmas, or even just in the neighborhood, make sure to come in and check out our art display while you sip a warm cup of hot cocoa from our hot cocoa bar.

A personal note to hold as a reminder in this time.

Shaking off what we can NOT control, and filling ourselves up with what we CAN control will help decrease anxiety and stress, leaving room to enhance emotional security and a sound mind.

COH is here to support anyone who is needing a little more encouragement during all the uncertainty. We have wonderful therapists who are available via telehealth to guide you through anything you may need help with. Connect with us to learn more.

Center of Hope prioritizes the health and safety of our staff and clients. In knowing this, we recognize that increased concern and added stress develops in the wake of uncertainty, which creates an even higher need to provide support to our clients. Our offices will remain open until further notice, but will be implementing alternative options to face-to-face therapy for each client to obtain access to, this being Telehealth services.

Telehealth services are done via a computer/tablet/ phone through a secure network with your therapist, and are available upon request for all current and new clients. Your therapist will be available to assist you in how to organize this on your device at home.

If you receive a dual service at our office (I.e. Neurofeedback therapy), please contact your therapist to discuss how to proceed in developing a plan that matches your individualized need.

Please reach out with any questions. We want to make sure we practice being safe while still taking care of our clients.
