🎃👻 Dawn Hill Nursing Home had a spooktacular halloween week! 👻🎃 We dove into Halloween arts and crafts, played halloween bingo, and were treated to an adorable Halloween parade by our friends at the Village Daycare! The kids in their costumes totally made our day! 🎉

Our annual Halloween party was a hit, with a costume contest that crowned the werewolf as champ, followed by the clown and then the sister! 🏆 We also unveiled our pumpkin contest winners: Oliver's witch took the gold, Molly the donkey snagged silver, and Oliver's pumpkin landed bronze! 🎃

Big thanks to Jiving Joey Marshall for rocking the house! 🎶 We feasted on cupcakes, pretzel bites, cookies, pudding, and more! 🧁🍪 A wickedly good time was had by all week long!

🍂🍎 A Sweet Fall Visit! 🍪
Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting the Warren Senior Center during their Medicare Open Enrollment Event. We brought along some delicious Caramel Apple Boats with tasty toppings and assorted cookies — a perfect fall treat!
While there, we also shared information about the services we provide, including short-term rehab, long-term care, and secured memory care.
It was wonderful connecting with the seniors and celebrating the season together! ❤️

🎃 Get ready to vote! 🎃 Our annual pumpkin decorating contest has started here at Dawn Hill, and this year's entries are AMAZING! Our staff really outdid themselves with creativity and effort. Stop by our receptionist desk to cast your vote—only one per person! The winner will be announced at our annual Halloween party and costume contest right here on October 31st and then will announce here on face book!

Last week at Dawn Hill, we rocked Infection Control Week!
Huge shoutout to our amazing infection control nurse, Kayla, for organizing a week of fun and learning.
We had a blast with hand washing games and a escape room!
Staff put their knowledge to the test with germ jeopardy!
We had a black light hand washing check!
The PPE race was definitely a highlight with our team members showing off their skills. So much fun was had by all, participating in different infection control related things throughout the week!

What a week it's been here on the hill! 🍂🎃 Some of us went for a fall foliage drive and checked out some Halloween decorations around town. We've had table bowling, arts and crafts, hot potato, loads of brain games, a performance from Karaoke Rick, some music by Gary and his guitar, and plenty of chats with friends and family. It was a wonderful week here at Dawn Hill! ☀️😊

🎃👻 Trunk or Treat at Dawn Hill last night was a scream! 👻🎃

Last night's community event was a spooktacular success! We had an amazing turnout with cars decked out in their Halloween best. Kids, families, staff, and residents all had a blast. It was a night full of spooky fun, family, and friends! 🧡🖤🧡
