It’s a sign of the season in Monkton -- maple sap from a tap beating like a drum at the bottom of a bucket. Rob Cota and his brother Greg say sugaring is something that just gets in your blood.

New England's seasons are fall, winter, spring, and summer. But here in Vermont there is Bird Hunting Season, Deer Season, Fishing Season, and Sugaring Season. Who knows what season it is now????
