May Breakfast/Brunch is a Rhode Island tradition dating back to 1867, and we were proud to keep that tradition alive this past Friday with our May Day Brunch!

The morning was filled with community, laughter, and renewed spirits as residents and staff came together to enjoy a delicious spread of breakfast potatoes, two types of quiche, waffles, and sausage—along with fresh fruit and pastries. We even topped it off with chocolate croissants for a sweet finish!

Moments like these remind us how special it is to share good food and great company. 💛

Found in the vault! Our Activities Department has been doing incredible things lately. Here’s a glimpse into the birthday parties, arts & crafts, cooking projects, and so much more that make life at Silver Creek so special. There is always something to do here, and it’s our amazing staff and residents who make it all so much fun!

We had a wonderful day celebrating Spring with Donna from Benjamin Church Senior Center and Franklin Court Independent Living! 🌷☀️
GreenTree Healthcare – Dawn Hill Rehab and Silver Creek generously sponsored the event, helping make the day extra special. The seniors enjoyed a delicious lunch, yummy desserts, and most importantly, great conversations and lots of smiles. 🍰🥗😊

Surprise! Yesterday we had the chance to celebrate our HR Director, Kathy, with a small surprise—lunch, flowers, and a sweet treat. 🌸

Kathy plays an important role behind the scenes, helping keep us on track and compliant with state and federal regulations. She’s a trusted resource for all staff and is always willing to lend a hand when it comes to supporting our residents.

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from all of us at Silver Creek! 🍀

We had a great day celebrating with our residents and staff. Everyone enjoyed a traditional corned beef and cabbage luncheon, prepared right in our kitchen. 🥘

There was also a “Guess How Many Coins” game—lots of good guesses—and some smooth Irish tunes playing throughout the day. 🎶

Thank you to our team for putting everything together and to our residents for making it such an enjoyable celebration.

Feeling the love this week! I’m grateful to be supported by an outstanding leadership team and incredible longevity across all departments here at Silver Creek. With that foundation, and the support of our regional team, I’m able to focus on the parts of the role I value most—connecting with residents, families, and staff while continually striving to make our community even better.
