Surprise! Yesterday we had the chance to celebrate our HR Director, Kathy, with a small surprise—lunch, flowers, and a sweet treat. 🌸

Kathy plays an important role behind the scenes, helping keep us on track and compliant with state and federal regulations. She’s a trusted resource for all staff and is always willing to lend a hand when it comes to supporting our residents.

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from all of us at Silver Creek! 🍀

We had a great day celebrating with our residents and staff. Everyone enjoyed a traditional corned beef and cabbage luncheon, prepared right in our kitchen. 🥘

There was also a “Guess How Many Coins” game—lots of good guesses—and some smooth Irish tunes playing throughout the day. 🎶

Thank you to our team for putting everything together and to our residents for making it such an enjoyable celebration.

Feeling the love this week! I’m grateful to be supported by an outstanding leadership team and incredible longevity across all departments here at Silver Creek. With that foundation, and the support of our regional team, I’m able to focus on the parts of the role I value most—connecting with residents, families, and staff while continually striving to make our community even better. Mardi Gras was a BLAST!!! 🎭💜💛💚

Our residents and staff enjoyed traditional King Cake and celebrated all day long with the one and only Joey Marshall bringing the music and energy!

Laughter, dancing, beads, and plenty of festive spirit made it a day to remember. Laissez les bons temps rouler! 🎉

💘💝Valentine’s Day was a success here at Silver Creek! We handed out carnations to our residents and staff, enjoyed a celebration with live music and of course, plenty of sweets! Love is what makes quality care possible — and there was no shortage of it last week!😍🩷

We had a wonderful time with the seniors at the Benjamin Church Senior Center creating Valentine’s vases filled with beautiful flowers. So much creativity, laughter, and love shared today—what a special way to celebrate the season of kindness together! 🌸💝

🤩Happy National Activity Professionals Week 2026!! Here at Silver Creek, our Activities team has roots that run deep!

Nancy Lowney and Troy Mandeville both spent many years in our Activities Department before taking their talents to lead departments at other facilities. In December 2024, Troy returned home as Activities Director and immediately revitalized the department with fresh energy and creativity. He brought Nancy back as an aide (clearly overqualified!), and she jumped right in as if she never left.

When Troy transitioned into another role with Silver Creek in Dec 2025, it was only fitting that Nancy was promoted to Activities Director. Under her leadership, the department continues to flourish—and most importantly, our residents are having an absolute blast!

The department is supported by 4 WONDERFUL Aides: Colleen (7+ years!), Kayla (3 years!), Trudy and Jaylynn. Thank you to the whole team for your dedication, passion, and the joy you bring to Silver Creek every day!🥳💙💛

🎅🎄 Santa and his elf paid a special visit to Silver Creek! Our residents had a wonderful time opening gifts from our incredible staff and the generous donations we were so grateful to receive.

Following a heartfelt reading of “The Night Before Christmas” by our lovely resident Steven, everyone enjoyed delicious homemade cookies and rocked the night away to live music!

We hope everyone had a Christmas and holiday season as joyful and memorable as ours! ✨
