June Family Night took us back to the debut of the Ford Mustang in 1964 at the New York World's Fair.

Horsepower Happy Hour roared to life across all American House communities, and American House Oak Park was no different; with vintage car shows, live music, themed appetizers, and the best company to enjoy it with!!

to American House East I resident Anne's birthday, who is officially #100 years young! 🥳

Anne has made a HUGE impact on everyone around her. From her inspiring stories to her ever-present smile, Anne is a testament to living a fulfilled life (and continuing to!) 🥰

All month long, the American House Home Office has been fundraising for the Alzheimer's Association initiative and raffling off a lovely gift basket. Not only was $1500 raised, but the winner of the gift basket raffle is...Gail Tikkanen from the GO Design + team! Congrats! And THANK YOU to everyone who donated and continues to donate to this amazing cause 💜

Donations can still be made to our communities through July 31! American House is thrilled to continue its journey as a Top Team for the Alzheimer's Association: The Longest Day with your support. Keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks to see all the different ways our communities celebrated 😃

If you didn’t get a chance to come to our Family Night, you missed a great time! We had a packed house as we highlighted the 1964 World’s Fair in New York where the Ford Mustang was launched. ❤️ 🏁 🚗

We took a “pit stop” for some NY style pizza and cheesecake. Then, we ended the night with karaoke from our one and only bus driver, Stacy (and friends). We even have some other employees take the microphone for a “spin.” Be sure to join us next month!

This month’s family night took us back to 1982 when the World’s Fair was in Knoxville. The Coca-Cola Company first began testing its official Cherry flavored version of Coke for visitors at the fair. So, we couldn’t resist serving Cherry Coke floats, which the residents and guests seemed to enjoy. 🍒The night ended on a fun note with lively music. 🎵
