GALAS

We began as a small group of Gay and Le***an and Straight and Other Bristol area folks who wanted a place to socialize, get to know one another and generally have fun. We began with pot lucks....at first at the Bristol Historical Society and then at a variety of homes in Bristol. Over several years, we grew and shrank and grew and shrank and spun off into other groups. We’re back. We held an event in June to remember Jeffrey Palmer, husband of Rich Baraglia, who passed away last spring from cancer.

We are gathering again on June 29th, to further remember Jeff, to raise money for a scholarship in his name AND to have a DRAG Partylite Candle party with consultant, Candi Kame-Loudly, one of Bristol’s very own drag queens. Who knows where we’ll go from here?
