In my career, mental health has always been a priority for me in working with patients, families and friends and especially now as a primary care provider. It has also been very personal for me as schizophrenia was a part of my brothers life and we as a family supported him as best we were able to. He fought so bravely and honestly stronger than I could've been through the years. The loss of my brother is imaginable.
Below is a scholarship that has been started to honor David and to spread awareness for people and families managing life with mental illness.
