The vision for Grey to Glory started in 2019 with just me & Jesus. In early 2020 Grey to Glory, Inc became a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization helping elders in Liberty and Calhoun counties with things like hot meals, yard work, house cleans, ramps, DME, personal care items, and help with sitters & CNAs through the use of volunteers and monetary donations. Over the course of several years, it has now added its sister organization, Grey to Glory Home Health. This is a for-profit organization that provides skilled needs (RNs/LPNs, Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy) through use of referrals from hospitals, rehabs, and MD offices. We provide in home care for disease teaching, medication management, wound care, Foley catheter care, IV Abx teaching, etc. Our FOR -PROFIT donates to our NON-PROFIT ensuring that funds go right back into what matters most - the elder! Today we are thankful for all our patients that have become like our 2nd family. We are thankful for the dedicated nurses and therapists who bring light, strength, and comfort into every home. This family is truly a blessing.

My saying that has carried me along during this LONG process of starting a Home Health Agency. Do you need to see this this morning?

Rushed Roots Don’t Hold

Don’t try and rush the process - God will grow you and let your roots go deeper so you aren’t moved by every storm that comes your way.

Side note: I haven’t been perfect in this and have had lots of moments where friends and family have had to pick me up off the floor. It’s okay- your only human ❤️

Many people do not know what all home health can do......so, this week, we will be sharing a daily "Let me tell you how we can help" post on things you can request to use home health for. Today our "how we can help" is on FOLEY CATHETER CARE. This can be done in home through the order of your doctor and managed by home health care. If you are 65 years and older and have become home bound and leaving home is very difficult for you then this is a skill covered under majority of insurance plans. If prevents getting out of the home several times a month just to go see the nurse for a catheter change. We can do it in the comfort of your home without you every having to get in the car. My precious grandma

Ive been thinking latley about our “yes” to follow God and what that means.

When my grandma said “yes” to God she started a ripple effect that rippled my way. She introduced me to my eternal friend ❤️

She taught me to spend time with Jesus in his word- she taught me to give my first 10% of everything I earned to kingdom work- she taught me to serve people of all colors, race, and lifestyles, never to judge but to see others the way Christ does.

She is a light for all who see her and I couldn’t have picked a better picture to represent this company then this one.

For it is better to give then to receive- to serve then to be served ❤️

We have UPDATED our insurance list to now include BCBS Medicare AND Aetna Medicare! We are still actively working on obtaining contracts for United Healthcare, Humana, and Ambetter.

We strive to do things outside the community AND we really want to make an effort to love on our elders within our local rehabs. Thank you Rivervalley for letting us serve up some tailgating goodies and hang with my new found friend who is 100 years old and 6 months!!!! ❤️❤️

Seeing little wrinkle free hands hold the hands of aged, wiser hands is such a beautiful sight to me.

I take pictures to remember the beauty of the young colliding with the old and to encourage our followers to do the same.

Old shouldn’t mean burden- it’s a scriptural blessing that should be respected.

It’s the mission behind what we do ❤️

We have only 2 of our elders adopted 😞

Get up with us if you or your church would like to "adopt" an elder & love on them during the year.

☀️ 8 home visits for baths for elders who can’t safely get in and out of the tub and therefore would otherwise resort to a “spit bath”

🌞 6 overnight stays for elders who had acute sickness and needed immediate help and otherwise would have gotten sicker or had to stay in hospital.

🔆Food to provide weekly hot meals to our elder shut ins
