MLR should apply to Dental Insurance. Your premiums should mostly go toward patient care! Let your state representatives know you care.

Patient dollars should be spent on patient care rather than administrative and overhead costs, such as salaries and marketing, or profit.

Contact your CT legislators to have a hearing for HB 5813! There is an attempt to avoid even a discussion on including dental insurance in medical loss ratios, which would force a minimum percentage premium payments to go to actual patient care.

We are trying to do our best to avoid the need for opioids after surgery, especially wisdom tooth removal. Thanks to WFSB and Pacira for helping get the message out.

When it comes to wisdom tooth removal, studies continue to show a link between filling an opioid prescription after surgery and long-term opioid use.
