Happy National Nurses Week to our incredible team! 🩺💙

This week, we are celebrating BIG at our facility because our sweet, hardworking nurses deserve nothing less than to be spoiled and have a little fun! From early mornings to late nights, they pour their hearts into caring for our residents, and we are so thankful for each and every one of them.

All week long, we’ve got something special planned — daily treats and fun dress-up days to show just how much we appreciate everything they do!

Today kicked things off in the best way! Our team suited up as superheroes (because that’s exactly what they are), and we were blessed with the most delicious cupcakes from Blackbird Bakery.

A huge THANK YOU to Blackbird Bakery for helping us celebrate our amazing nurses and making their day a little extra sweet!

Here’s to a week full of fun, appreciation, and celebrating the heroes who make a difference every single day!

Vanessa, Kaylee, Karen (and her sidekick Holston — the bestest boy 🐾), Tawnya, Sharon, and Jimmy — you all truly are the backbone of our day-to-day operations. You keep us organized, on track, and moving forward, no matter what comes your way.

Each of you wears many hats, and you wear them so well. Your dedication, hard work, and willingness to jump in wherever needed do not go unnoticed. We are beyond grateful for everything you do to support our team and our residents.

Lexii is one of our amazing night shift CNAs, and we are so lucky to have her on our team! Her vibrant personality, endless energy, and sweet spirit shine through in everything she does. Even during the late hours, she brings warmth and positivity to both our residents and her coworkers.

Janike is such an incredible part of our Memory Care team. Her dependability and dedication never go unnoticed. She truly sets the standard for what it means to be a great CNA. She’s a natural role model, and her kindness radiates to everyone she cares for and works with.

A huge THANK YOU to Gracie Keys for bringing such a special and meaningful experience to our residents!

Gracie brought along her sweet donkey, Alice, and her husband’s horse, Rambo, for a visit—and it was nothing short of incredible. Our residents absolutely loved spending time with them! For many, it brought back cherished memories of farm life and days spent caring for their own animals. There were so many heartfelt moments. You could truly see the joy and emotion it brought out in everyone.

It meant so much to us to see those memories come to life again. Experiences like this go far beyond a simple visit. They touch hearts in the most special way.

Gracie was also so kind in complimenting our facility and the care we provide, which truly meant a lot to our team. We are so grateful for the time and effort they took out of their day to make ours brighter.

Thank you again for sharing Alice and Rambo with us! It was a day we won’t forget!🐴💛

We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Patrick Sumpter and the incredible team of volunteers from Judah Church for spending their Saturday serving our facility!

Because of their hard work and generosity, our garden areas have been completely transformed. From pulling weeds and refreshing the mulch to planting beautiful new flowers, they truly brought these spaces back to life. The difference is amazing! It looks 10x better than before!

More importantly, what they’ve done goes far beyond appearances. They’ve created a brighter, more welcoming environment that our residents will enjoy and appreciate every single day. It is acts of kindness like this that make such a meaningful impact.

We are truly grateful for their time, effort, and servant hearts. Thank you for making a difference in our community!🌼

This week, we are proud to recognize and celebrate Jimmy Greer for the incredible role he plays here at the Rehab Center. Jimmy truly wears many hats, and he handles each one with dedication, precision, and care. From maintaining the accuracy and compliance of our medical records to ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, his work is essential to the quality of care we provide every single day.

Jimmy’s attention to detail, organization, and commitment to doing things the right way help keep our facility on track and in compliance—but even more importantly, his work helps protect and support the well-being of those we serve. He is a strong and steady advocate for our residents, always working to ensure their information is handled with integrity and respect.

We are so grateful for Jimmy’s hard work, reliability, and the positive impact he makes on our team. His dedication does not go unnoticed. We are lucky to have him as part of our family.

We would like to give a big thank you to Rita from the Bristol Public Library for coming back to our facility for another special Story Time with Rita!

Rita spent time reading with both our Memory Care and Long Term Care residents, creating such a meaningful and enjoyable experience for everyone. Her kindness, energy, and love for reading truly shine through, and our residents always look forward to her visits.

We are so thankful for Rita and her generosity in sharing her time and talent with us. It means so much to our community!

Today we’re celebrating someone who brings so much joy, energy, and heart to our facility—our amazing Activities Director, Frances!

Frances is truly one of a kind. She is kind, fun, outgoing, and such a strong advocate for our residents. She goes above and beyond every single day to make sure our residents are not only cared for, but also living life to the fullest. From creative activities to meaningful moments, she’s always coming up with the best ways to keep everyone engaged, smiling, and having fun!

Her passion shines through in everything she does. She is the best activities director and we are so thankful for all she does!
