Today we are celebrating someone who truly embodies leadership, dedication, and heart—our incredible Director of Nursing, Amy Walters.

Amy is fierce in the best way: a strong leader, endlessly kind, and always willing to step in wherever she’s needed. This past snowstorm showed that perfectly. While many were unable to make it in, Amy stayed the entire weekend covering shifts, ensuring our residents were cared for without missing a beat. And as if that wasn’t enough, she didn’t hesitate to jump in with maintenance tasks—spreading salt in the parking lot and on sidewalks to keep everyone safe.

That is the kind of leader she is: hands-on, selfless, and always putting others first. Amy, we want you to know how seen, appreciated, and loved you are. Our facility is better because of you, and we are beyond thankful for all that you do every single day.

From helping with admissions, scheduling appointments and transportation, to managing accounts payable, you are the behind-the-scenes hero making sure everything runs smoothly for our residents, families, and staff. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to jump in wherever needed make you such a vital part of our team.

❄️ A Special Thank You ❄️

During this winter storm, we want to take a moment to recognize and deeply thank the incredible people who have continued to show up and serve—especially our own dedicated staff here at our facility.

Several of our team members stayed through the weekend, working overtime, stepping into multiple roles, and doing whatever was needed to ensure our residents remained safe, warm, and cared for. Teamwork truly shined. When travel became unsafe for some, others selflessly filled in without hesitation.

We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude beyond our walls. To healthcare workers everywhere, first responders, linemen and women, road crews clearing snow, ice, and fallen trees, and all those quietly working behind the scenes to keep our communities running—we see you.

While many were able to stay home and stay safe, you were out doing the Lord’s work, serving others in difficult and dangerous conditions. Your sacrifices, dedication, and heart mean more than words can express. Thank you to every single person who showed up, stayed late, stepped in, and kept going. You are appreciated—today and always.🩵

We are proud to announce that our facility is now offering both inpatient and outpatient advanced wound care services. We are thrilled to expand our care and bring this much-needed service to our community!

Wounds that do not show signs of healing after 4 weeks of standard treatment may require advanced intervention. Chronic wounds are often associated with diabetes, vascular disease, pressure injuries, and impaired mobility—and timely, specialized care can make all the difference.
