🦃HEALTHY(ISH) HOLIDAY TIPS🥧
Sometimes the holiday season feels like 6 weeks of indulgence, but this year it's only 5 weeks. Even if you have 6–8 parties or big meals, that still leaves 25 or more days to stay on track.
One meal doesn’t define your habits. What you do most of the time does.
Here are some simple tips to your health habits in focus in the midst of holiday meals.
💦Keep hydrated, especially if you'll be drinking a glass of wine.
🏃♀️Keep moving. It helps the body process all that extra food and blood sugar.
🥑Preload your day with fresh, simple meals and colorful foods.
🥤Drink a Complete protein smoothie or two.
Repeat the next day. Most people find that gentle recovery works better than restriction this time of year.
