Many patients have asked about the recent news releases regarding our company. I get asked on a regular basis if this is affecting me or my practice. I want to answer that question to all of our patients that are connected to us online and prevent some of these questions from occurring in our exam rooms (I feel like I spend 45 to 60 minutes a day total answering these questions). The short answer is yes it does affect us, but the extent to which it affects us is difficult to explain. Our plans have always been to "wait out the hard times" and do everything possible to maintain the existence of this clinic. All the providers in this clinic are in agreement with this approach. We plan to maintain stability in our clinic for as long as possible. The company tells us there is optimism that these conditions will improve by January.
Should there come a time that the effect on us gets too great OR has lasted too long and we have to make unwanted decisions, this page will contain any updated information to maintain awareness.

2 weeks in the new clinic have flown by. I am so happy to be seeing many of my established patients and have been able to see several new patients.
I am accepting brand new patients., which I was previously unable to do, so send any of your friends or family members that need a doctor to our new clinic.

I will be officially starting at my new practice (Advanced Internal Medicine with State of Franklin Healthcare Associates) on January 3. Many of my patients have already arranged to transfer their records to the new practice and we have had difficulties making sure that patients have been able to get refills and urgent care. Dr. Dixon, Karri, and Sunshine were very helpful during this time period that I have been unable to practice and prescribe. I am thankful to them and also thankful to so many patients for their loyalty. I am very excited to get back to work and cannot wait to see all my patients again soon.

I have had to suddenly leave my practice at 308 8th St. I will soon be starting work with State of Franklin Healthcare Associates at 320 Steeles Rd in Bristol, TN. I will keep everyone posted on a start date. I know many of my patients have asked about me accepting new patients, and I previously was unable to do so. I will be accepting new patients for a while so if you know someone needing a new doctor, send them my way. It is fine for them to go ahead and call to schedule an appointment.
