About Shenandoah Pain and Palliative Care Clinic:
This company was formed in 2018 and we began seeing patients in February, 2020, just in time for COVID. This is a hybrid clinic which provides both pain management services to those with chronic pain and palliative care services to patients, their families and care givers who are facing problems associated with all types of serious, chronic life-limiting illnesses. We utilize a holistic care approach of medical care that addresses the person as a whole, not just their disease or injury. We strive to provide relief from the symptoms and stress of the illness by means of psychosocial, spiritual and practical medical support. We provide a caring environment, perform comprehensive interdisciplinary assessments, establish patient-centered achievable goals of care, as well as coordinate care with the primary medical provider and other healthcare specialists.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and provide exceptional and appropriate care to patients
• Communicate with nursing staff and collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
