Effective March 1st, SPPCC will be operating from 7:30am-6:00pm, Monday-Thursday. Our office will be closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday weekly. Rest assured, our staff and provider stays committed to providing excellent care to all our current and prospective patients. Shenandoah Pain and Palliative Care Clinic (SPPCC) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide exceptional care to chronic pain and palliative care patients.

• Job Type: Full-time

• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, no weekends, no holidays,* no on-call

• Pay: Based on experience

• Benefits:

• License/Certification:
o AANC or AANP Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred); Nurse Practitioner new graduates welcome

o Unincumbered DEA License required
o Registered Nurse, State of Virginia required
o Prescriptive Authority, State of Virginia required
o ACLS preferred; BLS for Healthcare Provider required (or willing to certify)

o Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited college
o Master of Science in Nursing from accredited college
o Citizen of the United States of America

About Shenandoah Pain and Palliative Care Clinic:

This company was formed in 2018 and we began seeing patients in February, 2020, just in time for COVID. This is a hybrid clinic which provides both pain management services to those with chronic pain and palliative care services to patients, their families and care givers who are facing problems associated with all types of serious, chronic life-limiting illnesses. We utilize a holistic care approach of medical care that addresses the person as a whole, not just their disease or injury. We strive to provide relief from the symptoms and stress of the illness by means of psychosocial, spiritual and practical medical support. We provide a caring environment, perform comprehensive interdisciplinary assessments, establish patient-centered achievable goals of care, as well as coordinate care with the primary medical provider and other healthcare specialists.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and provide exceptional and appropriate care to patients
• Communicate with nursing staff and collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Part-time Administrative Assistant
Located in Broadway, VA, Shenandoah Pain and Palliative Care Clinic (SPPCC) is looking to hire a part-time administrative assistant.

Job Description: The ideal candidate is expected to work independently and efficiently, as well as be able to follow clinical and office protocols (i.e. HIPAA). In addition, the ideal candidate is also expected to demonstrate the values of SPPCC by providing excellent patient care and customer service. The position is in office, part-time (25-30 hours a week, Monday-Friday) with the potential to become full-time. Pay ranges from $12-$15/hour based on experience.

Job Responsibilities: This position requires efficiency in administrative duties such as checking patients in and out, scheduling patients, answering the phone, handling and filing paperwork, etc.

Position Requirements/Required Skills:
- High school diploma/GED
- 1-2 years of working in a medical office setting preferred
- Ability to use a computer and efficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of general office equipment/duties
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and able to manage time appropriately
- Ability to abide by confidentiality and HIPAA policies
- Teachable and can work in a fast paced environment
