Well it's Tuesday again, so it's my turn for ! Thanks to , my health has really improved since I started April 26th. My cholesterol was 201 and went down to 158. My triglyceride level was 155 and dropped to 112. My A1C level was 7.20, but that's lowered to 6.5. I've also lost 18 pounds since starting the program. The main keys that have led to my success are the supplements, food diaries, and the other people doing the program. The supplements really help keep my sugar from rising, which I monitor since I'm diabetic. The supplements also keep my hunger satisfied between meals. Keeping my food recorded helps me stay on track with the program. With other people who have joined, it gives you a bigger support system and lots of encouragement everytime someone joins . Thank you for taking the time to read my testimony! I would also like to give a big thanks to Dawn Dispanet Cullers for all of her help and support! Without her, I couldn't have gotten this far!❤😊

Today's so here goes mine! I started with my daughter Alisha on May 8th. My goal is to get down to about 130. Before I started this program, I weighed 166. Currently, I've slimmed down to 152. My friend Dawn has been a very big help to my daughter and I. Real Results has helped me a lot in making different foods for my family, and improvising healthier starches. My daughter has also gotten more interested in cooking with me and trying new things. It has been very fun for us both being able to do this together, but it's also been very encouraging. I'm her cheerleader and she's mine. Since we're doing this journey together, we've both been more successful than we've been years ago on our own. Real Results is life changing! Here's a delicious and simple recipe (only 6 steps!) for Turkey Chipotle Chili that fits perfectly into your Real Results Eating Plan.

Ingredients:
1 green pepper chopped
1 small onion chopped
2 tsp canola oil
1 lb ground turkey breast
1 can 15 oz tomato sauce
1 can 15 oz kidney beans undrained
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp canned or 1/4 tsp dried chipotle pepper minced
8 Tbsp shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese

Directions:
1. In 2 quart sauce pan, sauté peppers and onions in oil over medium heat for 5 minutes.
2. Cook turkey for ~5 minutes and drain.
3. Add sauce, beans, seasonings, and chipotle. Stir well.
4. Increase heat until mixture comes to a boil.
5. Reduce heat and simmer for ~15 minutes.
6. Top with cheese.

Testimonial Tuesday and I was nominated to start it off. Hm, where do I begin? For years, I've tried eating healthy and dieting on my own, but with no success. I stepped on a scale at home months ago and the number I saw scared me. I was very close to 300 pounds. I was in size 22-24 women's clothing. It scared me mostly because there are many diabetics and people with heart problems in my family history. I knew I had to get serious with my weight and my health. Not long after, mom and I's good friend Dawn Dispanet Cullers told us about a new program she was starting called . I started the program May 8th of this year. Before I started, I had in my mind that I'd have to starve myself and cut out so many foods. Man, was I wrong. This program has helped me see food in a whole different perspective and I've actually grown to like things that I used to find was gross (cooked spinach, kale, greens, etc.). I've basically relearned how to eat like a normal person. I've learned portion sizes much better, which was mainly my problem. It wasn't so much that I would eat a lot of junk (like some people think all heavier people do), but that I would eat bigger portions a lot and go back for seconds. Since I've started, I don't find myself hungry between meals like I used to. I have done really well so far and when I started on May 8th, I was 290 pounds. I'm proud to say that within almost a month, I've dropped down to 273 pounds. That's 17 pounds! I know that I have a long way to go, but I never could have done it myself. Dawn is a great coach and it has really helped me that my mom Lynda Godwin has been doing it as well. When you have someone there to encourage you as well as someone to go through it with you, you're more likely to succeed. Eating healthy on my own wasn't successful, either. I tried and tried with no success. With Real Results, yes, you invest a little money, but most people put more effort into things that they invest their money into. I know this was a pretty lengthy testimonial, but if you took the time to read it all the way to the end, I really appreciate it.😊☺
