What a fun afternoon! We took to the outdoors again yesterday for some water games. Residents enjoyed throwing water balloons at our activities staff and playing with some water toys.

We can’t wait to get out again next month for more fun!!

🎆🎇 Happy 4th of July! 🎇🎆

We celebrated a few days early with a picnic outside! We enjoyed some homemade lemonade, music by Karen Labella, and hot dogs cooked on the grill.

A huge thank you to all of the staff and family members who helped us get outdoors for the holiday. A an extra big thank you to the dietary workers who cooked outside on the grill for us!!

🎆 Bursting into July! 🎇

We're excited to share our activities calendars and newsletter for the month of July. We can't wait to gather outside for our 4th of July picnic, enjoy lots of ice cream, and beat the heat with some water balloons later this month.

What a month filled with warm weather and fun! We enjoyed lots of baking, arts and crafts, and spent lots of time outside this month.

June was a blast here at Lakeside, we can't wait to celebrate the 4th of July next week!

We headed outside this week during Up, Up, and Away Week to test our paper bag kites, blow some bubbles, listen to live music and enjoy some sunshine!

We can't wait to enjoy the rest of the sun this upcoming summer here at Lakeside!

We’ve had a fantastic time embracing Sandy Toes and Sunshine Week here at Lakeside. When we couldn’t get outside to experience our (mostly) sunny weather this week, we took the beach inside!

You’re never too old to enjoy the relaxing and entertaining nature of sand!!

This week we enjoyed celebrating all of our May birthdays with some cake donuts made by our very own residents. Last week we celebrated our mother figures all week long, some photos below are from baby doll visits.

Next week we end the month with Southern Comfort week!

🌹 A big thank you to the Hamlin, NY Lions Club who blessed our residents yesterday with roses for Mother’s Day!

We so appreciate all the smiles they brought to each and every resident that received a beautiful flower.

🎊 This week we celebrated Cinco de Mayo and learned about all things Mexico! 🥳

We had a great week creating lots of cactus art, learning about Mexican culture and food, and ended with cracking open a pinata together before Happy Hour.

Next week, we're celebrating our mothers with Mother's and Memories Week!

Although we can't wait to enjoy all we have planned for the month of May, we have to share some of the fun from April!

We enjoyed arranging some flowers donated by community members, visits with our favorite furry friend Louis, sheering some "sheep," and wearing our bingo prizes with pride 🤩
