Autism adhd fact. You are born with Autism and or adhd. You never "Grow Out of it" you have it for life. It just shows up differently as you age. And the societal expectations of how to act and grow bigger. Masking starts at a really young age. About pr***en years. You're family may tell you stop walking on your tip toes, flapping your hands, they might tell you to look at people when they are talking to you. These are called stims. They are used when we feel disregulated. Or we want to jump up and down to show our excitement. We have been told that we're "too much" Weird, or Rude. Thinly before you speak to us.
