CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!

Hello, I am conducting a research project for my Doctoral Program and need your help.

I am conducting interviews with Black Women to examine how their sense of psychological safety affects their growth in leadership roles.

Leadership requires formal managerial or project leadership roles and informal roles, including community or workplace initiatives.

This investigation focuses on the impact of embodying the strong Black woman (SBW) archetype, characterized by five specific traits, on their professional leadership development.

Are you, or do you know, an American Black Woman who served in a leadership position within the last 5 years?

Eligible participants must self-identify with the following criteria:
1. American Black Woman
2. Actively employed or have served in a leadership role within the last five years
3. 18 years old and up
4. Participants should personally identify with the SBW archetype and self-report qualities such as
self-reliance, resilience in the face of adversity, and a commitment to caring for others and prioritizing their own needs over those of others
5. Willingness to participate in a prescreening and individual interview

Participation in this study will include a brief screening to determine eligibility, followed by a video-recorded individual interview conversation via Zoom that will take about 90 minutes.

Pre-screening Survey: https://lnkd.in/eqgECR6x

During a Zoom, the participants and researcher will meet at the agreed-upon time using the link provided by the researcher.
