Starting June 30th, our pharmacy will have new operating hours to better serve you:

🕘 New Hours:
Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

“It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that I have made the difficult decision to leave my position at the pharmacy after 6 wonderful years. It has been a pleasure to serve you and this community for the past 6 years. This is bittersweet for me, but it is time for a change. I want to thank you all for being so welcoming and inviting. I will cherish the memories and relationships I have made while here as I embark on this new journey. My last day is Friday, 04/18 so please stop in to say goodbye! Per the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin, "this bill aims to increase transparency and accountability for PBMs, ensuring that patients have better access to their medications and that all pharmacies can compete fairly. Other states have passed similar measures, resulting in better patient care and even reduced healthcare costs. Now, we need your voice to make a difference in Wisconsin."

"The bill is named Cole's Act in honor of Cole Schmidtknecht, who passed away from a severe asthma attack after his inhaler was removed from his plan's formulary, and he could not afford the out-of-pocket cost."

"If you're frustrated by PBM practices, now is the time to act. Contact your lawmakers and advocate for PBM reform that supports pharmacies, patients, and fair drug pricing."

Due to the continuous snow fall and worsening road conditions, we will be closing early today, 0️⃣2️⃣/1️⃣2️⃣/2️⃣5️⃣, at 4️⃣:0️⃣0️⃣ PM to ensure our staff all make it home safely. We will reopen tomorrow, 02/13/25 at 8:00 AM.

Hi, my name is Mackynzie Anderson. I grew up in South Beloit, IL and graduated from Hononegah High School in 2011. I then went to pharmacy school at Roosevelt University and graduated with my Doctor of Pharmacy in 2017. I worked at Shopko Pharmacy in Beloit, WI all through school and became the pharmacy manager there upon graduation. After their closure in January of 2019, I made my way to Hometown Pharmacy in Brodhead and I have been the pharmacy manager here since April. I currently live in Rockton, IL with my fiance, Mark and dog, Louie. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I love working in a small community, building relationships with my patients, and educating them on ways they can be proactive about their health. Stop in anytime to chat or just say Hi!
