AS WE MOVE INTO 2026...
..this message matters more than ever. I’ve seen time and again how simply choosing to focus on what you do have rather than what you don't have softens the heart and lifts a heavy load off the body. When your thoughts rest on gratitude rather than on what feels missing or what has been lost, something very real happens inside: you breathe a little easier, your shoulders drop, and your nervous system begins to calm. That calm creates space for your body to do what it was designed to do: repair, restore, and move forward. This way of thinking isn’t about pretending life is easy; it’s about grounding yourself in truth, thankfulness, and trust, even when life feels tender and vulnerable.
Choosing joy each morning is a powerful decision. Joy isn’t tied to perfect circumstances - it comes from how you choose to begin your day. When you wake up and decide, today I’m choosing joy, you’re caring for your emotional health, building resilience, and inviting God’s peace to lead the way. That choice shows up in how you nourish your body, how kindly you speak to yourself, and how you interact with the people around you. Taken one morning at a time, joy becomes a steady practice—quiet, strengthening, and deeply sustaining all year long. 🌿
