☀️💦 Summer Fun at Rockcastle Health & Rehab! 🍦☕️

We had the BEST time taking our residents on a fun-filled Staycation trip to the Kentucky Splash waterpark this week! From the laughter in the lazy river to the relaxing splash of the water in the wave pool, smiles were everywhere. 💙

And what’s a summer outing without sweet treats? After the fun, we stopped by Dairy Queen for hot fudge sundaes and blizzards — the perfect way to cool down and enjoy a little extra joy. 🍨🧊

We love creating special memories and moments of joy with our Rockcastle family. Thank you to our amazing staff for making these adventures possible!

After 35 Years of Service, Terry Terry Retires — and Leaves a Legacy of Love and Leadership

For over three decades, Terry Terry answered her calling as a nurse with heart, skill, and a deep devotion to others. And now, after 35 years of compassionate care, she’s officially retired from Signature HealthCARE of Bowling Green.

There are so many things we could say to send her off, but a few words from her team say it best:
“Your dedication and hard work have been inspiring.”
“Thank you for your contributions to our facility, residents, and families.”
“It has been a privilege working with you.”
“May your retirement be as rewarding as your career.”
“You gave us all guidance.”
“Congratulations on a stand-out career!”

Terry’s photo now hangs on the wall of the North Nursing Unit—a symbol of her enduring impact. But while her picture stays, her daily presence will be deeply missed. The walls and halls of Bowling Green simply won’t be the same without her.

Terry, your Signature family thanks you. And we wish you a retirement full of adventure, rest, and everything you love—because after all you’ve given, you deserve nothing less.

🍦🚌☕ Nothing beats a sweet treat and a beautiful view! Residents at Rockcastle Health and Rehab had a blast taking a scenic drive around Lake Linville in our brand-new facility bus after stopping for some well-deserved goodies — ice cream, milkshakes, banana splits, and iced coffee were all on the menu! 😋

It was a perfect summer outing filled with laughter, fresh air, and sweet memories. We’re so thankful for opportunities like this to help our residents stay active and enjoy the beauty of our community. 💛

Nothing beats a good ol’ country meal! 🥬🧅🥓🍞

Our residents had a delicious time enjoying fresh lettuce and onions topped with warm bacon grease and crispy bacon, all served up with golden fried cornbread—just like grandma used to make! 😋

A big shout out to Becky Bussell for bringing us that fresh, homegrown lettuce! Your kindness made our day a whole lot tastier. 💚

❤️ Our hearts were full as residents from Rockcastle Health and Rehab enjoyed watching the Fourth of July parade in Brodhead, Kentucky! 🎆🎈

The highlight of the day? Seeing all the smiling kids waving flags, riding bikes, and showing their patriotic spirit. It brought back so many sweet memories and sparked so much joy. Thank you to the community for continuing such special tradition for us! ❤️🤍💙
