As a trauma survivor, Reiki has been vital and pivotal in helping to calm my nervous system that at times has been completely overwhelmed with pain from my past. When the nervous system is in fight or flight due to trauma, it causes disease in the body. Reiki helps to soothe the nervous system allowing ease in the body. It is a complementary therapy with medicine💜
