Lisa and Brian came in to help our residents make and arrange their own charcuterie boards. There was a large selection of meats, cheeses, crackers, and pickles. We had to pair them with our favorite wines and really loved the experience. We got to keep the boards and were excited to reuse them later for more fun refreshment activities with Lisa!

Our residents came together for a colorful and creative group art experience using paint-filled balloons to bring this canvas to life. With every pop of color, laughter filled the room, and a beautiful abstract painting was created.

Have you ever tried you hand at axe throwing? We tried it out recently with our friend Rebecca and the smiles and laughs were exactly what we needed! Doug and Johnny showed off their skills and hit the bulls eye the most. WAY TO GO GUYS!

This month we wanted to highlight one of our amazing community members, Steve. Steve started out as a Journalist for the Tulsa World after Graduating from the University of Tulsa. He worked for the Tulsa World for three years, then joined the Army and toured the world as an Army newspaper editor and served with Cities Services/OXY USA.

His love for Tulsa never dampened and his need for knowledge only grew, so he used that information to produce detailed calendars showing Oklahoma's rich history! He's made over 20 calendars in his time, and they are all incredible.

While he published many calendars in his years, one of his favorites is the Oklahoma Almanac version from 2008! He showed off this calendar, and explained how he got a lot of the history included in the calendar and some of the famous people he got to interview. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing side of yourself, Steve!
