In a little over 1οΈβ£ week, Gathering Place will launch Tiny Tulsa, an accessible and sensory-inclusive free play program in ONEOK Boathouse every Saturday in April and May from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ONEOK Boathouse will transform into a tiny version of Tulsa, featuring a farmer's market, food truck, construction truck, post office, medical office, art studio, library, and park.
Tiny Tulsa is designed for Pre-K through 5th grade students and their families and will feature low lighting, soothing sounds, creative toys, art materials, and adaptive play elements in an inclusive environment, offering children with special needs a space to feel safe and play alongside others.
Tiny Tulsa is free and open to the public. The event series is a part of the Explore & Imagine program at Gathering Place, which is sponsored by the AEP Foundation on behalf of Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO).
