On this Veterans Day, we pause to recognize and thank all veterans, past and present, for their service and sacrifice. We are especially grateful for the staff and residents at Custer Care who have served our country and continue to serve our community. Your courage and dedication are truly appreciated today and every day. 🇺🇸

A big thank you to the Broken Bow Nebraska Chamber of Commerce for hosting such a successful Sidewalk Spooks on the Square! 🎃

We’re so thankful to be part of such a fun community event and to live in a town that comes together to make memories for local kids. 🧡

💛 Warmest of Welcomes to Megan Smith, our new Activities Director! 💛

Megan was drawn to Custer Care by the family feeling between our staff and residents and the flexibility that makes it feel like home. Her favorite part of each day is seeing our residents’ smiles and bringing joy through activities that make life here special.

She already has lots of fun things planned for the months ahead, including Thirsty Thursday, Deer Hunting, Bowling, and so much more laughter and creativity to come!

Originally from Kearney, Megan has lived in Broken Bow before and recently moved back. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, daughter, and their dogs! Whether they’re fishing or heading out on a spontaneous trip together their activities outside of Custer Care are just as fun as the ones she plans for!

We’re so excited to have her sharing her warmth, energy, and love for life with all of us at Custer Care! Please join us in giving her a true Broken Bow, “Hello!” 🩷
