We had the best time at yesterday’s Easter Egg Hunt! 🐣🌷

The turnout was absolutely phenomenal, it so special seeing our community come together and to witness all of the excitement.

A huge thank you to all of the sponsors who helped make this event possible, and the biggest thank you to the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce for always putting on such an incredible Easter egg hunt for our community.

We look forward to it every year and this one did not disappoint 💛

🐣 4 & under will hunt in the square

We always look forward to this special cohosted event with the Broken Bow Nebraska Chamber of CommerceIt’s such a fun way to bring our community together each year.

This week was extra special for our family.
As the Denson generation officially grew, it was a beautiful reminder of why Jeanette Denson started Custer Care in the first place to care for EVERY person just like family.

With Matt Denson continuing that legacy, it’s more than a job to us… it’s personal. ❤️

Congratulations to Josh (kelsey) Denson and the Denson family for opening their hearts to add one more. ❤️

Caregiver Appreciation Month may have officially started on March 3rd… but around here, we celebrate our caregivers every single day. 🤍

We are blessed with a team that shows up with patience, compassion, and kindness that can’t be taught , only given from the heart. They are the reason our clients feel safe, valued, and truly cared for.

Whether it’s a warm smile, a helping hand, or simply sitting beside someone who needs a friend… our caregivers make all the difference.

To our incredible team, thank you for the love you pour into this place and the families we serve. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful for you.

We had a special little visitor join us who jumped right in to help whip up some monkey bread and fried chicken for lunch! 🍗💛

We had an extra fun crew from Anselmo-Merna Public School’s JAG program stop by last week and they kept our residents on their toes in the best way 😊

Between donuts, bingo, exercises, and a riveting game of balloon ball, there was always something going on. And of course, we wrapped it all up with a dance party (which might’ve been the highlight). 🕺

We love visitor days like this full of energy, laughter, and new faces around the table.

Thanks for spending part of your day with us it means more to our residents than you know! 🩷

We had such a great time attending the LeadingAge Nebraska conference last week, but the best part by far was celebrating one of our own 💚

David Bresley was honored with the Changemaker Award, and we couldn’t be more proud! For 16 years, David has been a steady, compassionate presence at Custer Care, showing up every day with heart, kindness, and a true dedication to the people we serve.

This recognition is so well deserved, and we are incredibly lucky to have him as part of our Custer Care family.

We’re currently looking to add a driver to our team! someone kind, dependable, and ready to be part of the everyday moments that mean so much to our clients.

At the same time, we’re still searching for a wheelchair accessible van to better serve our community. If you or someone you know has one available (low-ish mileage preferred), we would love to connect!
