✨ Shout out to Mrs. Stafford for doing an amazing job teaching our students about the four FCCLA ceremonies today! ✨ Students learned about the Opening Ceremony, Member Initiation, Officer Installation, and Closing Ceremony: each one plays an important role in highlighting FCCLA’s traditions, leadership, and unity. These ceremonies help students understand the pride and purpose behind being part of FCCLA. ❤️👩‍👩‍👧‍👦

👩‍🍳✨ Our FCS students put their parliamentary procedure skills to the test with a trail mix activity! Each ingredient represented a motion, and students practiced the 8 steps to action while building the perfect snack. From making and seconding a motion, to debating, amending, voting, and announcing results, students learned how to conduct business in an orderly, fair way… all while creating something delicious! 🥨🍫

FCCLA is creating a very special “From the Heart of a Savage” Cookbook – a collection of favorite recipes from our Savage family, past and present. 🍲🍪🥗

We want YOUR best recipes to be included! Whether it’s a cherished family dish, a tailgate favorite, or something you’re known for at gatherings – this is your chance to share it with the Savage community.

– Staff & Community Members connected to Broken Bow Public Schools

📌 How to submit:
Use the Google Form, pick up a paper submission form at the High School office, or comment your email and we will send the PDF file for you to print. Return all completed paper forms to high school office.

Please have all recipe submissions in by September 19th.

✨ Cookbooks will be available for purchase in October 2025, just in time for fall cooking and the holiday season!

Our sweet Journey is bringing home the SILVER! We are so proud of her and this amazing accomplishment. Despite not placing top 10 we know she went in there and gave it 110% and showed the judges what it means to be a Savage!! 🥈 🎉 ⭐️

Yesterday was a full day, our morning started with celebrating our amazing advisers across the nation at the FCCLA Adviser Recognition Ceremony and we were blown away by the creativity and talent on display at the FCCLA Fashion Show—every outfit handmade by students! It included categories such as, formal wear, wedding gowns, casual wear, and contemporary.🎉👗 Their hard work and vision truly shined on the runway.

Afterward, we traded the runway for roller coasters and geared up for another unforgettable night at Universal Studios! 🎢🌌 We were having so much fun that we barely remembered to take pictures—but trust us, the memories (and the laughter) will last a lifetime. ❤️

We took on Disney World and soaked up every magical moment! ✨ From the thrill and fun at Hollywood Studios—lights, camera, action and all the epic rides—to the pure wonder and enchantment of Magic Kingdom, where dreams really do come true 🏰💫

We laughed, we screamed (mostly on rides 😅), and we made memories that we’ll carry forever. Every corner had something new to explore—from galaxy-hopping adventures to castle-lit fireworks. Disney truly knows how to turn ordinary days into unforgettable ones. 💖🎢🎇

✈️ We touched down in Orlando yesterday afternoon and hit the ground running! We ended our travel day with a state meeting and opening general session.

🌴 Today, we woke up early to beat the lines and checked out the expo hall, stocked up on some FCCLA merch 🛍️, and are now waiting to hear National Officer Candidate speeches.

Wishing the best of luck to all the Oklahoma FCCLA members attending and competing at the 2025 National Leadership Conference in Orlando this week!

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with members and advisers from across the nation, attend leadership workshops, participate in competitive events, explore various career pathways and learn from industry experts.

We can’t wait to follow along this week!
