🌟 From Labor & Delivery Nurse to Midwife: Embracing a Calling 🌟
As Midwifery Week draws to a close, I'm reflecting on a journey that feels like destiny. Eight years as a Labor & Delivery Nurse laid the foundation, but Midwifery? It wasn't a choice; it was a calling, and it's become my life's purpose. 🤰👩⚕️
🌠 464 Beautiful Beginnings and 4 Angels 🤍: Each of those numbers represents a precious life I’ve had the privilege of welcoming into this world. These moments are not just statistics; they are stories of love, strength, and hope. Some journeys brought tears instead of cries of joy, but those too, are etched in my heart.
💖 A Path of Nurture: Midwifery isn't just about catching babies; it's about nurturing dreams, empowering parents, and being a guiding light through one of life's most transformative journeys. It's about honoring the innate strength within us all.
🌎 Celebrating Diversity: I've had the joy of working with families from all walks of life, and I'm continually amazed by the tapestry of humanity. Midwifery celebrates this diversity, reminding us that unity is born from our shared experiences.
📚 A Lifelong Journey of Learning: The world of Midwifery is a vast ocean of knowledge, and I'm forever a student. It keeps me humble, curious, and passionately dedicated to honing my skills for the families I serve.
🙏 Grateful for the Calling: I didn't choose Midwifery; it chose me. And for that, I'm profoundly grateful. To my fellow Midwives, Nurses- my work moms, nurse preceptors , and everyone who's been part of this incredible voyage, thank you for your unwavering support.
Together, we bring new life into the world, nurturing dreams, and celebrating the beauty of human connection. As Midwifery Week concludes, I am filled with immense gratitude for the path that chose me, and I can't wait to embrace the countless stories yet to be written. 🌟💕
