The Milwaukee Metropolitan Community Concert Band is performing today in the Chapel of the Chimes inside the Great Memorial Building at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Our Memorial Day observances continue throughout the day at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Carriage rides are available until 3:00 PM, with trips between the Family Reception Center and the Great Memorial Building.

Guests are invited to meet at the Family Reception Center to take part in this special Memorial Day experience as we continue to gather in remembrance, reflection, and community. 🇺🇸

From the flags lining the walkway toward our Veterans Field of Honor, to the meaningful words shared by Garrett Rose, President and General Manager of Wisconsin Memorial Park, and keynote speaker Lt. Col. Dale Kooyenga, each moment invites us to pause, reflect, and remember.

As the day continues, we remain honored to gather with our community in tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and legacy will never be forgotten.

Our fantastic Grounds Crew has been hard at work placing American flags in the Veterans Field of Honor in preparation for Memorial Day.

We are grateful for their dedication, care, and the pride they take in keeping our Park beautiful and meaningful for the families and community we serve.

Join us for our May Service of Remembrance on May 19 at 6:00 p.m. with the theme "Forget Me Not." This month's event will be held at the Family Reception Center due to ongoing construction. Additionally, attend our Free Pre-Planning Lunch & Seminar on May 20 at 1:00 p.m. to learn about cemetery arrangements and explore new options. We also have a Memorial Day Schedule of Events that includes a ceremony, music, and food trucks.

It has come to our attention that during last year’s Wisconsin Memorial Park Car Show, a food truck vendor was misled by an individual falsely claiming to represent our event—demanding payment in exchange for a spot. Please be advised: we do not solicit or accept payment from food vendors to participate in the car show. The only fee we collect is a modest registration fee from vehicle participants. Admission for the public remains entirely free.

All food vendors are invite-only and are contacted directly by our staff.

If you are contacted by someone claiming to represent our event or requesting payment, please call our main office at 262-781-7474 to verify the legitimacy of the inquiry. We appreciate your help in protecting the integrity of our event and its guests.
