It is time to schedule your children's influenza vaccines. Pediatrics West will be holding flu clinics Thursday September 18th from 3pm-8pm, Weds Oct 1st 3pm-8pm, Saturday Oct 11th from 9am-noon, and Thursday Oct 23rd from 3pm-8pm.

Good news! Our office is accessible from the east off of Gebhardt Rd. only. Please allow yourself extra time as you head to the office today. Our staff is making their way to the office and we will be up and fulling running by 10:15am. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Our community is seeing large numbers of both pneumonia and whooping cough (pertussis). Please reach out if your child is coughing and you have concerns.
Also today is our last flu clinic. If your child has not had their seasonal flu vaccine please call and schedule today!

When it seems like a cold is lasting longer than 7-10 days and a cough is getting worse, it could be walking pneumonia. Learn more here.

Pediatrics West is now scheduling for the seasonal vaccines. Appointments are still available for 10/2/24 and 10/10/24. We have a morning clinic on 10/18/24 and a Saturday am clinic 11/2/24. Please let us know at the time of scheduling if you would like to have your child get the COVID vaccine in addition to the seasonal flu vaccine. Also if your child is under 8 months of life he or she may be eligible for the RSV shot. Call and schedule today!

Have a safe and wonderful 4th of July. Pediatrics West will be closed for the holiday weekend but Dr. Manion is on call and able to help you answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Confirmed Measles cases have been identified in Illinois. As of 3/14/24 no confirmed cases have been identified in Wisconsin but we want parents to be alert of the outbreak. The best way to protect your children is through immunization. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Measles is caused by a virus that can spread easily through the air when an infected person sneezes or coughs and someone nearby inhales the infected droplets. It can also be transmitted by direct contact with fluids from the nose or mouth of an infected person.
