Chiropractic is a central component of any health and well-being plan. We know this better than anyone and can make chiropractic fit into any lifestyle. I have been in the chiropractic care business for over 31 years. I love working with patients of all ages. Patient care is my 1st priority and I can assist with a variety of issues from low back, headaches, and neck pain to sports injuries and child care. I can help establish a treatment plan to get you feeling better and be on the road to wellness. I am a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and a second generation chiropractor in my family. Jacquette was a Chiropractor for 43 years. Meet Maya, a rescue from Hoover's House in Mukwonago. She passed her training to be a certified therapy dog and can be seen following Dr. Renee around the office.

Waking up with back pain? Your mattress might be the culprit. A poor mattress strains muscles, disrupts spinal alignment, and worsens lower back pain.

Here's how to choose one that supports both your spine and your sleep:

1. Comfort Comes First
No single mattress works for everyone. The best one is whatever helps you sleep pain-free.

2. Know the Basics
Look at coil count, padding thickness, and overall depth. These affect both support and comfort.

3. Support Matters
A good mattress supports your spine’s natural curves. Medium-firm is often best for back pain.

4. Find the Right Balance
Too firm? Pressure points hurt. Too soft? No support. Aim for comfort and alignment.

5. Time for a New One?

TRAVELING WITHOUT BACK PAIN

When you travel, you’re often doing it for rest and relaxation. So you don’t want to have to deal with back pain on your trip. Here’s how you can help yourself (and your family) enjoy your time away from home.

Keep in mind how much time you’ll be spending in a car or plane. Before you start your travels, keep up on your exercise and stretching routine.

During your travels, be sure to stand from time to time so your body doesn’t stay crouched in a tight space for too long. Upon arrival to your destination, avoid too much lifting, bending and twisting—after all, you should be relaxing!

If you’ve suffered from back pain in the past or want to get ahead of pain before it starts, consider scheduling an appointment before you embark on your travels and immediately upon your return.
