Our St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Regency Brookfield was full of Irish cheer, and we’re still smiling about it! 💚

We had the pleasure of welcoming the talented Trinity Dancers, who brought incredible energy, rhythm, and tradition to our community. They had everyone tapping their toes and feeling the spirit of the day!

And of course, we couldn’t celebrate without a sweet treat… our festive Shamrock Shakes were a hit—minty, creamy, and perfectly lucky!

It was a day filled with laughter, music, and a whole lot of green!

Our Blu Grotto seniors are feeling extra lucky today as they celebrate in their festive St. Patrick’s Day spirit! From shamrocks to smiles, the joy is contagious. Today is a day full of laughter, friendship, and a little Irish charm. We’re so grateful for these moments that bring everyone together and make our community shine! 💚

Over the past couple of weeks, we had the incredible privilege of welcoming students from Marquette University High School as part of their 35th Annual Senior Shared Life Project.

What a gift it was to witness these young men grow throughout their time with our community. As they spent time talking, listening, and sharing moments with our residents, something truly special unfolded. Connections were formed, stories were exchanged, and hearts were touched on both sides.

It was beautiful to see how each student began to blossom as they opened up and formed meaningful bonds with our residents. Their kindness, curiosity, and compassion left a lasting impact on all of us here at Regency Brookfield.

Today our amazing Blu Grotto seniors celebrated National Pie Day the sweetest way possible: Baking classic apple pies from scratch. The kitchen was filled with laughter, stories, and the delicious smell of cinnamon and baked apples.

We had the pleasure of learning from one of our very own residents this week!

Betty gave a captivating presentation about the Yukon Quest dogsled race, an event she has been actively involved with as a volunteer for many years. Her stories, insights, and firsthand experiences brought this incredible race to life for everyone in the room. From the endurance of the mushers to the dedication of the sled dogs and volunteers behind the scenes, Betty shared a true wealth of knowledge that had us all completely engaged.

We are so grateful for residents like Betty who are willing to share their passions and life experiences with our community. What a special afternoon of learning and connection! 🐾❄️

In honor of International Women’s Day, Regency Brookfield welcomed a very special guest.

Through an incredible historical portrayal by Jessica Michna, residents were transported back in time to meet Eleanor Roosevelt, often known as the “First Lady of the World.” Her powerful story of leadership, resilience, and advocacy left our residents inspired and deeply engaged.

It was a wonderful afternoon bringing history to life and celebrating the impact of such an extraordinary woman. 💜
