Please remember the McLemore family in your prayers and share this post to make others aware of the arrangements.

Stanley McLemore, 70, of Wesson, MS, passed away on November 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a 20-year journey with Parkinson’s disease. Until the end, Stanley maintained his integrity, kindness, sense of humor, and deep love for his family and friends.

Stanley was born in Philadelphia, MS, on November 3, 1955, to Herman and Nell McLemore. He graduated from Warren Central High School in 1974. After graduation he became a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 619.

Stanley was a hard-working and dedicated pipefitter welder for 30 years, and he remained a proud member of Local 619. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family.

Stanley met the love of his life, Debra Brent, in 1981 through a mutual friend, and they were married on May 29, 1982. They later welcomed three beautiful daughters into the world. Though Stanley may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his many years of fatherly love honored. His daughters would describe him as their hero. He was a man of great character and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Stanley’s hobbies and interests helped define the man he was. He attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he was a devoted and faithful member for 20 years. He enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his children, but nothing brought him more joy than cheering on his grandchildren at their games and events, where he was always their biggest supporter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman McLemore; his mother, Nell Wooten McLemore; and his brother, Joe McLemore.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 43 years, Debra (Debbie) McLemore; his daughters, Kristin McLemore, Kayla Ryan (Patrick), and Kim McLemore (Josh); his grandson, Karter McLemore; his granddaughters, Allie, Lexie, Hayden, Kasadee, and Carleigh Ryan; and his sister, Debbie McMillian. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation for Stanley McLemore will be held on December 2, 2025, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in Brookhaven, MS, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow on December 3, 2025, at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery in Vicksburg, MS, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation, a cause close to the family’s heart.

We find comfort in knowing that Stanley’s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the memories we will cherish forever.
