While going to StonyBrook University in 1982 for my masters and social work, I recall my professor mentioning this with other types of therapies. But he didn’t go into it. He simply said we don’t need to. This is now known to be abuse. He just wanted us to know that this existed. I cannot believe that folks want to use this “therapy” this many years later!!
