Hello Pre-pro club!

Our next meeting is TOMORROW, April 28th @ 6PM in Rotunda G!
This meeting will be the last meeting of the semester and we will be electing the Executive Board for both AMSA and Pre-Pro for next school year. This will be an important meeting to attend!

We are looking for next years officers. If you want to run, please email Alexis ( Alexis.Elfstrand@jacks.sdstate.edu )a PowerPoint slide containing a picture, name, major, hometown, extracurricular involvement before TONIGHT at 5PM. Please come prepared with a small speech on why you are running, why you should be elected to this position, and any future ideas/goals that you would like to see implemented while you are an officer. Everyone running or trying to vote must be a dues paying member.

Don’t forget!

Pre-Professional Science Club will be teaming up with the EMS Club, ASL Club, and AMSA for a Halloween Bingo Bash tonight from 9 pm to 10 pm in Rotunda D!

As spots will be limited between four clubs, and campus guidelines, we are giving dues-paying members the first opportunity to sign up for the event followed by non-dues paying members.

If you signed up already, we will see you tonight!

There will be a Pre-professional meeting tonight from 6-7pm in Rotunda G. Ryan Bowie, an Admissions Advisor from Cleveland University-Kansas City - Chiropractic and Health Sciences will be speaking and give some information about Cleveland University and chiropractic school. This is a pre-chiropractic meeting, but any other areas of pre-professional interest are welcomed as well!

Hello everyone!

Wednesday, October 7th from 7 pm to 8 pm in Rotunda D will be the next Pre-Professional Science Club meeting and we will be teaming up with AMSA once again!

Mark T. Sternhagen will be coming to tell his powerful story about his life with polio. Mark’s story is always an inspiration and we are very blessed to have him come tell us his story! In addition, Seth Shatto who is a program coordinator for the Biomedical Science (1yr) Master's Program at Iowa State University will be speaking the first 5-10 minutes to talk about how his program can help students strengthen their applications to any professional school.

In addition, since this will be our second meeting, those who wish to become due paying members can bring cash ($25 for Pre-Pro or $30 for both Pre-Pro and AMSA) or simply Venmo money to our clubs designated Venmo account which will be available during the meeting. We will discuss dues at the end of the meeting in order to allow Mark the most time possible to tell his story!
