When I was 17, I observed Kyle Wilhelm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, beginning my interest to change lives through music therapy! This morning I had the opportunity to watch him present Midwestern Region of AMTA Conference! I learned some great information about using preferred music!

Recently, I had the privilege of performing the National Anthem for an active color guard at the Hospice Memorial in Sioux Falls. An audience of approximately 375 responded with resounding applause. Many attendees were recording the event and several were visibly moved to tears. I remain committed to honoring our veterans. Selfless sacrifice will always be recognized and music serves as a means for me to contribute to this recognition! I hope to record the anthem and be able to sing it during some of our local sports events!
