I want to extend a huge thank you to Dells City Journal for writing the piece on my business! Thank you for interviewing me! I am extremely excited to continue renovating the building alongside Rod, Lisa, and Ben Pierson.

Something I envisioned occurring ten years down the road is now reality. It is hard to grasp, but we are doing the thing!

Do things scared. Do it unsure. It may be one of the best things to happen for you.

I think this old tin ceiling has history in it that we don’t know anything about. If anyone does, please feel free to reach out to me! As I said in my previous post, old pieces will be incorporated! I’m very excited to figure this out!

It really does work. Something that seems so simple is SO therapeutic when used like this. I love it. I go through a lot of slime ingredients but it is worth it.

Helping your child learn emotional regulation isn’t about what you do in the heat of the moment… it’s about what you build over time.

It’s the everyday conversations, the routines, the modelling, and the patience that slowly shape how your child understands and manages their feelings. There is no quick fix, because emotional regulation is a skill that develops through repetition, connection, and feeling safe enough to practise again and again.

And if it feels slow sometimes, that’s because it is. Progress in this area is quiet, gradual, and often invisible until one day you realise your child is coping in ways they couldn’t before.

If you want practical, step-by-step support to help your child develop these skills, my Managing Big Feelings Toolkit is designed to guide you through it in a simple, realistic way - link in comments below ⬇️ or via Linktree Shop in Bio

A short breathing exercise and mindfulness can go a long way in soothing our nervous system!

A short breathing exercise and mindfulness can go a long way in soothing our nervous system!

Sometimes children don’t need more instructions… they need something their body can feel.

This simple heart and belly breathing exercise helps children slow their breathing, settle their nervous system, and reconnect with a sense of calm. It’s gentle, grounding, and easy to use at home, in school, or during overwhelming moments.

When a child places one hand on their heart and one on their belly, they’re not just breathing… they’re learning to notice their body, regulate their emotions, and feel safe again.

These small, repeatable tools build lifelong skills.

If you’re supporting a child with big feelings, anxiety, or overwhelm, having simple, go-to strategies like this can make all the difference in those tricky moments.

Helpful handout for parents or guardians for regulation and co regulation! Kids can have a lot of different emotions with various intensities, but so can adults! This kind of information helps me as I parent as well!
