Hello everyone!

We are excited to welcome the newest member of our Edgewood family, and Dining Services Director, Richie Pettet!

Richie brings a positive energy to our team, as well as experience, and he already fits right in. We appreciate his willingness to dive in headfirst!

A little about Richie:

I graduated in 2013, and have spent several years in the food service industry, gaining experience across all levels, from management to ownership. I have a strong passion for creating high quality food and have always enjoyed being in the kitchen whether at home or work!

My goal is to provide seniors with an enjoyable, welcoming dining experience while building meaningful relationships with the residents. I take pride in offering meals that are both nourishing and thoughtfully prepared.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and our 3 children. I am an avid fan of outdoor activities, especially fishing. I also enjoy listening to, and playing music, and watching sports including the Vikings and the Jackrabbits.

Amanda’s dedication, work ethic, and passion go far beyond what’s written in any job description. She pours her whole heart into caring for our residents and supporting our staff, always going the extra mile to make sure everyone feels seen, valued, and included.

Her contagious Louisiana energy fills our halls with laughter, warmth, and joy—she truly has a gift for brightening every room she walks into. No one ever leaves a conversation with Amanda without a smile (or a good laugh), and our community is better every single day because of her commitment and compassion.
