Hi everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to introduce who we are and share a little bit of our story:

Noah and I are both 26 and have birthdays just 6 days apart. We are both from around this area, Noah went to Southeast Bulloch High School and I went to Bryan County High School. We met through a mutual friend in July of 2017. After adding each other on Instagram and Snapchat, we talked for awhile, which eventually turned into going on dates and riding dirt roads together. We officially started dating on November 20, 2017. From then on, we did everything together and never went a day without talking. My parents bought a house that turned out to only be 5 miles away from where he lived, so we eventually never went a day without seeing each other.

We then moved in together, and after living together for a year, he popped the question on the beach with all of our family there to celebrate! πŸ’ We got married a year later, on November 20, 2021 (our dating anniversary πŸ₯°) surrounded by all of our family and friends πŸ‘°πŸΌπŸ€΅πŸ»

Since getting married, we have made so many memories together and love to spend our time fishing, cutting grass, playing with our 7-year-old lab Luna, riding four wheelers, spending time at the beach and being at ball parks to support our nieces. We have 4 nieces and 1 nephew that keep us busy, but we wouldn’t want it any other way. We love to be with family, and travel down at least twice a year to visit my parents in Florida.

In November of 2019, we bought our first home together. We poured a lot of love into that house, but we decided that where we really wanted to be was on some land where we could have a little farm and build our forever home. We just recently sold our first home and currently live in a camper full time. BEST DECISION EVER! We absolutely love it. We also just closed on our land where we will eventually build our home and start our farm. This is where we want to raise our kids and have all of our friends and family come to visit ❀️

When we first started talking about having kids, it quickly became evident to us that we would need to look into seeing a specialist to help us with starting a family. In November of 2023, we started the process with our doctor and found out the following February that we would need to go through IVF. This was difficult for us to hear, but we both know that God always has a plan.

Our current plan is to begin our IVF journey in January 2025. It will not be easy and there are still many unknowns, but, we are hopeful of what it will bring πŸ’› we have been blessed to have such supportive family and friends throughout this process this far, and we are anxious, but excited, to start our journey in a few months!

Blueberry jam time! IVF can cost Noah and I anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000! There was a lot of blueberry making yesterday by Noah, Grandma, Shanda, Samantha, and I. We couldn't have done it without their help. All proceeds will go directly into IVF.
The blueberry are organic and freshly picked!
We only made two sizes, but we have a lot to go around! At this time, we can't ship, but I can either bring it to you or meet you somewhere!

I want to make this clear that we aren't seeking attention. I was and still am scared to let everyone know about this. We are extremely blessed to have family and friends throughout this process. I decided to share because one we needed somewhere to share our jam that is for sale to help with cost but also to let someone know they aren't alone. Every IVF journey is different. Our doctor has been doing this for 35+ years and he said first are hard to come by but we are his first when it comes to our infertility. If things don't work out we know there is adoption and I pray that one day, even if this works out, we will have the opportunity to adopt.

IVF- In vitro fertilisation
"one of several techniques available to help people with fertility problems have a baby. During IVF, an egg is removed from the woman's ovaries and fertilised with s***m in a laboratory. The fertilised egg, called an embryo, is then returned to the woman's womb to grow and develop."
But no single process is the same.
I write this because most of our ameadit family already knows. Noah and I will be going through IVF in the near future but our situation is alittle different then most. Alot, if not most of the time when you hear IVF it's with the female who struggles to become pregnant, wether it be PCOS, Endometriosis, and the list go on and on. With that being said everyone is different. Noah and I decided to wait a year after marriage to start trying but after a year of trying we decided to get checked out. Everything that my OBGYN looked at seemed to be fine and good to go, so we decided to see about Noah. Noah has had a few hernia surgery's, meningitis, a tumor is his head, and who know what else! πŸ˜…πŸ˜˜ When we looked further into Noah the doctors found some issues so then we went into genetics and it all comes down to us having to go through IVF if we want to have kids. We have already paid out $2,000 or so for testing and seeing the doctor because INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER IVF nor infertility. πŸ™ƒ to go throught IVF Noah and I will have to pay out of pocket and up front to go further. IVF could cost us anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000. Well unfortunately we don't have that kind of money just laying around. πŸ˜… Noah is doing side work and I have decided to sell blueberry jam that we have made. I made this jam for my wedding favors and it was a big hit. These blueberries are picked by Noah and I at my mother in law house who has 8 or so bushes. I will post a separate post for those that would like to buy some.
