We want to create a page where women with gestational diabetes can have access to basics of gestational diabetes, gestational recipe friendly easy recipes, pregnancy fitness and just a place to find other women going through the same thing as them. The Habits Gestational Diabetes Coach is an app to help women with gestational diabetes better manage their condition. You can track your blood glucose and share your results with your doctor, what you eat and your exercise as well. A coach guides you through the different aspects of gestational diabetes and you can ask any questions you have as well. If you're suffering from diabetes, then it's extremely important to keep a strict watch on your diet. You should eat small and healthy meals through the day in order to keep your blood- sugar levels in check and be sure to not include processed or high fattening food. Instead, find foods that perfectly combine protein, carbohydrates, and fats.

Tip of the day- Fruit juice, though tasty and refreshing, is not as healthy as whole fruit. When a whole fruit is pressed or squeezed to make juice, some of the nutrients, most notably fiber and the water-soluble vitamins, are lost in the process.

Eating the whole bananas are a better option compared to bananas in smoothies or juices. It is also perfect choice after workout because contains “good” kinds of carbs you need after a workout.

"Tip of the day- Always carry a fruit or a packet of whole grain biscuits in your bag. It will prevent you from reaching a point when you ‘faint with hunger’ and could eat even the tablecloth.
Believe me when you are that hungry the last thing on your mind is ‘choosing the right food’. So carry an emergency ration or two in your bag so you can use your good sense to choose your food wisely.
