✨Transformation Tuesday✨
This strong and determined patient has overcome multiple challenges on her breast reconstruction journey, and her results are a beautiful testament to patience, precision, and healing!

Her journey began over a decade ago with breast augmentation. Years later, a routine mammogram caused an implant rupture, leading to replacement surgery in early 2024. Complications followed, including delayed healing and infection, resulting in the removal of the right implant in August.

In the months that followed, she came to Longwood and began the first stage of reconstruction on the right side, including the development of a new incision and tissue expansion to restore the shape and prepare for implant placement.

In May, she underwent the final reconstructive stage with Dr. Morris:
    •    Removal of the right tissue expander
    •    Revision of the internal pocket
    •    Placement of a new permanent implant
    •    Adjustment on the left breast for balance, including a position revision and a new implant

She now has implants on both sides, 365cc on the right and matching volume on the left, and is thrilled with the outcome! She’s experiencing no pain and is incredibly happy with her results, especially the improved symmetry and contour. Her journey is a reminder: Healing takes time, but confidence is always worth the wait! 🩵
