In a first-of-its-kind study, the Alzheimer's Association found that when older adults introduce healthy lifestyle habits like exercise and following a Mediterranean diet, they can significantly improve their brain health and protect against cognitive decline.

Clinical trial results showed that a lifestyle program incorporating physical exercise, diet, cognitive & social engagement, & health monitoring improves cognitive function.

Yesterday, we joined together with our residents, families, associates, and local leaders to break ground for a re-imagined Goddard House! The heartfelt speeches, live art installation, barbecue lunch, and beautiful sunny weather made for a memorable event!

Additionally, thank you to members of the Goddard House family, including President & CEO Candace Cramer; Board Chair Mark Caggiano; Residents Barbara Bauman and John Kaufman; and Assistant Executive Director Lance Chapman.

We appreciate everyone’s involvement in our Groundbreaking Ceremony, which kicked off a new chapter for not only Goddard House, but for residents and families who will be able to enjoy our newly renovated community.
