Skillful Means Meditation, samatha, vipassana, mindfulness, relaxation, gladdening of the mind He draws from Wisdom and scientific traditions.

William Jackson has been practicing meditation since he was 15 years old when to his mothers dismay his sister came home with a shaved head and said she had been practicing vipassana. William thought, "Wow cool!"

To make a long story short William was fully ordained at a Buddhist monk in 2005 practicing meditation in many South Asian countries.William has been heavily influenced by the Pa Auk Sa

yadaw, Thich Naht Hanh traditions of Buddhist practice. In 2011, William disrobed to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Health Psychology and graduated in 2016. William is focused on developing a community of practitioners and teachers focused on authentic healthy balanced living. He hope that you will join him in creating this community!

Hello friends, as I’m sure many of you have heard, Asheville North Carolina, was hit hard during Hurricane Helene. Carrie Jackson Jackson, Lisa Hickey, Christy Potts Deuschle and I are pulling together to support our sister Ami (formerly Amy Samson). She is living outside of Asheville. Her and Zac’s property was hit really hard during the recent hurricane. They are working hard to clean up, but Mother Nature has dealt them a serious blow.
