Spirit is incredible!
Today a dad came thru. I knew he played hockey or golf as he showed me the wooden stick and I heard the stick hit the 'thing' on the ground. I heard the plop or click sound when the stick hit the puck.
In my mind pops an image of myself from years ago when I was blessed to have held one of the Olympic gold medals from the USA team when they won the Russians.
They made the movie Miracle on Ice.

So as the dad pops that memory in my mind of me holding the medal and the ring he proceeds to show me he wasn't quite that good, but still pretty darn good.
The family then told me.... he actually tried out for that team. So in my mind he was pretty darn good.
It is fascinating how this came up in my feed with memories on social media a day or two ago and here we were today, talking about hockey.

I know little to nothing about sports and have limited interest in any of it. A puck is a 'thing-thing' on ice for me.
I truly enjoyed today's session.
