🍀✨ What a FUN and BUSY St. Patrick’s Day at Urbana Place Senior Living! ✨🍀
We kicked off the day with our Marketing Director hosting exciting tours for prospects and community partners sharing all the warmth, connection, and vibrancy that makes Urbana Place so special 💜
At the end of each tour, guests were sent off with a little “pot of gold” 🎁 (a bottle of wine 🍷 and a Papa Murphy’s pizza 🍕) because celebrations are always better when they’re shared!
Our team brought the spirit today too 💚 decked out in festive green, smiles, and lots of laughter..

🍀✨ What a Lucky Week of Connection at Urbana Place Senior Living! ✨🍀
It has been such a wonderful week of building relationships and staying connected in our community! 💜
Our Marketing Director, Shelly Tennessen, had the opportunity to attend the National Aging In Place Council, Twin Cities chapter a local collaboration hub that supports Minnesota’s aging ecosystem. This incredible council focuses on collaboration, education, and trusted referrals all working together to create better outcomes for the families we serve. 🤝
Shelly also had the pleasure of hosting the Brooklyn Park Recreation and Parks St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon 🍀 where she was able to connect with so many amazing community members and continue sharing the heart behind what we do at Urbana Place.
Weeks like this remind us how important it is to stay engaged, collaborate, and support one another in helping older adults thrive. 💜

🍀 We’re feeling the St. Patrick’s Day spirit today! We enjoyed a pot of gold rainbow fruit platter, a cute shamrock craft, and visits from the Lucky Leprechaun cart with prizes. A fun and festive day full of Irish cheer! 🌈💚

🧠💜 Hands-On Learning at Urbana Place Senior Living 💜🧠
At Urbana Place Senior Living, we truly value giving our employees meaningful, hands-on experiences that help deepen their understanding and compassion for those we serve.
Recently, our team participated in what we call the Dementia Experience an activity designed to help staff better understand what it may feel like to live with dementia while trying to complete everyday tasks. 🧩👓🧤
Through this powerful experience, our employees are able to step into the shoes of those living with memory loss and gain a deeper appreciation for the challenges they may face daily. It’s all part of our commitment to providing empathetic, person-centered care to every resident who calls Urbana Place home. 💜

Our Marketing Director, Shelly Tennessen, has been out and about spreading a little St. Patrick’s Day joy to the incredible social workers in our local community! 🌈✨
March is Social Work Month, and we want to recognize the amazing professionals who work tirelessly in every corner of healthcare and community services to ensure the people they care for are heard, supported, and advocated for. Their compassion and dedication truly make a difference every single day. 💜
Shelly had the opportunity to invite some of these wonderful social workers to come tour our community this St. Patrick’s Day, where they can enjoy a little fun, share some laughs, and receive a special prize at the end of the rainbow! 🍕🍷🌈

🩺✨ What a fun and productive day at Urbana Place Senior Living! ✨🩺
Our amazing nursing team had a great time participating in today’s Skills Fair! It’s always wonderful to see our staff come together for continued competency training, especially when reviewing delegated tasks that are unique to our building and the care we provide to our residents.
We had a great turnout and fantastic staff participation, and it truly showed the dedication our team has to providing the best care possible. 💜

A 50 degree day on March 3rd = activities moved outdoors! Legacy Court residents enjoyed an afternoon snack, clearing out the flower beds, and visiting on the back patio. Bring on spring! 😎🌞
