She made the bold choice to move into our community, where she now shares meals, daily life, and special moments with the 200 residents she proudly calls friends.
Living alongside residents has given Jennifer a unique perspective on senior living, helping her listen more deeply and respond with true compassion. Her immersive approach extends beyond the dining room and into everyday life, whether she is walking her dog with residents or training for the NYC Marathon with their encouragement and support.

Centrally located in the heart of the prime neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, at 21 Clark Street, The Watermark at Brooklyn Heights will be a new retirement community offering distinct luxury senior living options. A short distance from The Promenade, the community will have stunning views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline, The Watermark at Brooklyn Heights will be one of the city’s most desirable senior living residences.
Anticipated Amenity and Design Details – Although some design aspects are at a preliminary stage, we predict the following amenities:
CLUB LEVEL
Art Studio – Our art studio will provide a variety of art related programming as well as well studio space for our resident artists.
Vitality Fitness Center and Pool – Our vitality fitness center will feature senior friendly pneumatic equipment with access controlled programming. Chair exercise and other group fitness programs will be held here or when space requires, in the performing arts room. Water aerobics and aqua therapy as well as water walking and lap swimming will be offered in our warm water therapy pool.
Wellness Clinic – Blood pressure clinics, massage, acupuncture and other alternative therapies will be offered in our wellness clinic. Visiting specialists, such as podiatrists and other care providers, will meet with residents in private treatment rooms.
Indulge Beauty Salon – Our Indulge Salon will offer a full range of hair styling services as well as manicures, pedicures and skincare.
CELLAR LEVEL
Dining Venues – The W Room, the main dining venue, will serve two restaurant-style meals daily. The Mark, a more intimate space, will offer 3 restaurant styles meals per day.
Performing Arts and Watermark University Programming Space – Live concerts, theater and poetry are some of the cultural programs that will be offered in our performing arts space. In addition, Watermark University, our interactive educational program will host lectures and other programs specifically tailored to the interests of our residents.
LOBBY LEVEL
Gallery Café – Our lobby level dining venue will feature light meals, snacks and beverages throughout the day. Concierge services will be provided from a desk adjacent to the café to allow for prompt resident assistance.
The Library – Our library will offer residents the opportunity to surf the net on “cyber-stations”, browse the daily news or select reading material from a wide range of books and magazine.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Dining Room/Country Kitchen – Provided on each of the secured floors, the dining room will serve 3 meals per day. Food prep will be done in the main kitchen, transported to the pantry where it will be finished, plated and served to residents. Snacks and beverages as well as alternative meal choices will be available to residents on demand.
Family Living Room – A residential style living room will provide residents a comfortable environment to read, meet with family and engage in specialized programming.
Salon – A satellite salon on each MC floor will provide convenient access to hair styling and manicure services.
Activity Rooms – Multiple programming opportunities exist in activity rooms designed to provide interactive programming for small groups of residents. Larger group activities will be held in the Living Room and when necessary, the dining space.
